Installation instructions

• Shut off the motor and let the exhaust system cool off
• Elevate the vehicle at least one meter, supporting the car with the bridge or jack stands. Do not work under the car when it is supported only by the jack alone
• Wear adequate eye protection when working under the car
• Spray the existing exhaust system, screws, clamps etc. with rust dissolver and allow the dissolver to work before attempting to remove it
• Before removal, compare the existing exhaust system with the replacement and make sure that they match
• Remove the existing system, beginning with the tail pipe and ending with the intermediate pipe
• Inspect the remaining parts and clean all connections
• Use putty, paste and lubrication fluid as necessary
• Replace all rubber parts and use new mounting kits
• Install the parts, beginning with the intermediate pipe at the catalytic converter and ending with the tail pipe. Do not tighten screws at this point
• Align silencers and pipes and tighten the screws
• Let the motor run and check all connections.
